Cheers Calum, it makes my sploosh look less girlie than I expected, I think Duncan wins that category! Has Martyn got a snowplough on the front of his mini as well as a monkey on the roof??

Rob says thanks too, and a thankyou to everyone for making him and Herbie feel so welcome

Thanks Julz, but I think my fuel tank was emptier than most, so that helped my buoyancy

Sorry to hear of the scratches GAJ. I would not have thought about that, I was more worried about the water getting in the engine air intake.

I wonder if traction control might have saved that from happening? I did have the DSC switched on - yes a big lassie I know.

I had a quick look at my white wheels today and they appear to be undamaged ,but I haven't washed the black dust off them yet so it is possible they may yet have some scratches I can't see.

Hey you lot, I was just checking out MINI.co.uk and Wul's a winner in the yourminiadventures competition this month with a pic of his wedding MINI at the Bridges
I'm now thinking they'll be getting loads of 'ford' entries for next month

Lightbulb Solved

I finally managed to get my web browsing problem sorted on my Macintosh.

It turned out to be a piece of shareware called "Broadband optimiser" that I had installed - it clearly didn't do what it said on the can.

Anyway, I can now see the full details of Calum's pictures and movies in Mac OS X 10.2.4.

The water splash photos are great. I think everybody was brave for letting their babys go through it. Although there does seem to be something about those black and white coopers that cause a bigger splash than most.

I'm sorry to hear about your wheels Gaj. I've just checked mine and they seem fine, although i have found a small dent in the side. I'm blameing that one on working on a construction site though.

I can't wait to get my photos developed. I'll post some pics if they're any good.

Ant

Sorry I missed the run last Sunday - looks like you had a great time.....though I did get to go skiing in France - and once again no broken bones

However - went out to the car this morning - parked in centre of town all week - and some torag has kicked the rear wing behind the drivers door - above and in front of the right rear wheel.

There is a big muddy boot print and two creases in the metal - no paint chips though.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Still - it's only a car that can get fixed.

John

It's electric blue and it's really very speedy
