Scotland Scottish Borders Spring Run :: Sunday 6th April

I took the opportunity to have a wee thrash through the borders yesterday seeing as there was no risk of ice with view to planning a run down there in the spring.

The route was from Edinburgh over the Lammermuir Hills via Gifford and down into Duns, then Greenlaw, Kelso, Melrose, Galashiels and home though the route could be extended up the Tweed as far as Peebles then back to Edinburgh. It takes in some of the Jim Clarke Rally stages around Duns and some fantastic views over Tweedale.

I'm just wanting to test the water and see who's interested before doing any more about it. April sometime me-thinks.

PS It would be good if some of the Geordie crowd could come up and join us....

Pure Silver

I've not been on any runs before but would be keen to attend if at all possible. I will keep an eye out for more details on dates etc and look forward to meeting you all.
