Kent Mini MINI Meet - 27th April 2003

Well, it looks like there's quite a few of us MINI2'ers centred around the Bromley / Beckenham / Orpington / general Kent sort of area - in fact I'm almost positive I've seen a lot of you quite a few times before!

Anyway....

After Goonermini suggested we do a new thread for this, I thought I'd duly oblige and propose a Mini MINI meet (!) for those if us living in Kent, and indeed anyone who is up for it.

This would be strictly informal (I'm not doing any organising, it will just be a case of turn up and do it!) and I'd imagine would take the form of a pub visit or something (Orange Juices all round if we're driving!). Also, what with Easter here, it gives us the perfect opportunity to get out for a while.

I did suggest a couple of pubs in Bromley but these don't look like a popular option, so , if anyone has any suggested dates / venue, post it here, we'll all meet up and have a brew and admire eadch other's cars!

I'll be there! But this weekend is no good for me. Need to check dates etc, hopefully in the next couple of weeks? Saw a B/W Cooper this morning in Shortlands - was that anyone here? It was an 03 car.

I'm not around much this weekend either (moving house!) - but if anyone has a particular favourite day / date, please suggest....I'm easy to go along with anything, depending on what people want to do and how rowdy they want it will depend on where we go and when, of course!

Just an idea but how about Eynsford? Always nice by the river in the sun And the Plough is quite a nice pub too.

Okay we need to set a date, and then I think we can ask one of the moderators to make this thread 'Important' so that it stays up the top, at least until after we all embark on our adventure!

Suggested (!) plan:

Meet in the Bromley area mid morning, mosy (is it spelt like that!?!) on down to Eynsford (wherever that is -who suggested Eynsford!?!) for a few non-alcoholic bevvies, and then mosy off somewhere else depending on how we all feel!

Please feel free to modify/improve/laugh at my potential plan!
