Offline | Whitehaven Cruise Just wanted to say a big thanks to The Ringmaster and Powertool for letting us in on their 'Cruise' in Whitehaven at the weekend. Boreel, Matt J, Charlotte, Anna and myself had a fantastic day! Could'nt see the fascination of meeting outside the newsagent, but WOW..........what a view It was a total accident that we stumbled onto this at the weekend.................more a case of follow the skidmarks really!!! Offline | Ah Lee. I could see there was something very red at the back but couldn't tell if it was you! I think Whitehaven must be pretty used to the smell of burning rubber if this w/e was anything to go by. OSJ Hyper Blue/Black Cooper. Offline | Soggy We literally ran into the back end of the cruise whilst visiting the lakes, no further info. May go up again, plenty of cottages to rent in the area! OSJ Hyper Blue/Black Cooper. Offline | What a weekend. Dashing around like a ferret around a pipe! Charlotte felt quite queer after the doggy egg in a basket and chips on the seafront. A pity Bugleboy and Angel couldn’t make it always next time to come along. I am glad we were able to avoid going up that dirt road, it could have resulted in a serious pain in the backside! By the end of the day I felt we had gone all over town. I will be giving that tearoom in Whitehaven a wide berth in future, too many seamen who have just arrived from port looking for trouble!!! Offline | Well HELLO BOYS! This is my very first post on MINI2 - I am a website virgin so to speak, so I hope you are all really nice and friendly. I'm glad you enjoyed our little impromptu cruise at the weekend, it was lovely to have a few fresh drivers. Im glad you agree that the newsagents is a nice little spot, its one of my favourites, and yes, you are right Jonnie, we have left a lot of skidmarks in Whitehaven. The locals are used to it though, and I think they quite enjoy the scene too. Matt J - Im not surprised Charlote felt that way, I often feel a little queer on the seafront too. But next time you come you really must take advantage of our dirt tracks, some fabulous twisty bends you know. And Charlotte doesn't have to come along if she doesn't like it! Thanks for letting me have a go in yours Matt, I could really feel the thrust, you know what I mean. And when you had a spin in mine! Well, I was wishing I had cooled seats instead of heated ones after that! Quite an experience, you do know how to take the bends don't you, there's no stopping you when you get going! I hope you guys can come up and join me and my good friends again, we really enjoyed boming around the Lakes. I will let everyone know next time we are planning a Whitehaven type Cruise, but we have lots of holidays in the sun planned - got to work on the tan! xxx Powertool Happy Powertool |

| V twin land | Powertool, I'am sure that as you had such a good time with OSJ, MattJ and Boreel (what a fine introduction to Mini2 )you may be able to give some advice as to the route we may use in the Lake District on the Coast to Coast run in September. Please feel free to sign up for the run as a space is still available. Offline | Good thing with Whitehaven is the lack of one way streets. Straight round the back and up the dirt tracks. Just got to be sure you don't go down the wrong 'un. Best way to a messy end that. Just come over all queer at the thought of it Coming back very soon ![]() |

Offline | Razor & Richammer! I wasn't aware so many of you were familiar with the dirt tracks in Whitehaven! They are pretty special although I hear Bugleboy's tail pipe took a bit of a blow on one of them...... Are you camping round the area for the coast to coast? Camping is pretty popular round these parts and it's a lot more fun than cottaging. OSJ Hyper Blue/Black Cooper. Side skirts/Aero grill, Milltek, chrome bitz and a scary roof graphic. Offline | We're away on holiday in Austria (not camping or cottaging though!) at the time of the coast to coast run. But if we were going, I'd have to come out on the camping too. As for a chromed ring - haven't managed to get hold of one - piles of red but no chromed ones unfortunately... |

Offline | Razor This is very true, I think Pat MaGroin is also coming along with Phil Mequick. Don't know about camping though, he has problems keeping the pole up in bad weather - especially when it's cold. Hyper Blue/Black Cooper.
