Offline | Someone has to wave the flag. After catching and cooking the Lock Ness Monster, my ambition is to run over a haggis anyway. Late March/April would be really good. Was a 1, now 1 of 150 in a 40 |

Offline | Achh.. Sassenach. Loch Ness Monster is too canny for that, and sheep (the pre-cursor of a haggis) will do some damage to your pride 'n joy. Well, this sassenach (and ex-patriot ) would be up for that. Could it be tied in with the international mini meeting at Kinross that smartbomb mentioned. Or do you think we might get lynched by classic Mini owners? (Joking, honest!!) |

Offline | I am attending the IMM but i will be in my mini van hopefully but i was at one of the organisers meetings and did ask about the new mini and all they said was we will make space for it I was at Stirling last year and the Cooper register had a new cooper and i heard someone say that f*cking thing should not be here. He obviously failed to see the various escorts novas and the like. I go to most mini meets but in my old mini and think its the best way to reduce friction from narrow minded people. I'm sure we could arganise something aimed at the new MINI and invite the classic to join if they so desired. What do you think. |

Offline | Inclined to agree, it'd prevent misunderstandings. I'm sure the majority of classic owners don't share that blokes sentiments, and it'd be good to get a few of them there if they were interested. If only to put the problems we're having into perspective. Wonder if Viscount Charles would be interested? Anyone got a spare quart of oil / new engine / err... return rail ticket for him? We could probably run to providing a haggis dinner to boot as well (although sitting here trying to digest my dinner I'm not sure I was right about those. Running them over has to be a better idea than actually eating them!) |

| MINI2 Master | Hi, I'm in the MINI clan and yes we welcome the new MINI. Do any MINI owners want to come along on Sunday the 27th of January for a run around the Stirlingshire area? If so drop me a line (mini@roblightbody.com) and I'll send you details. I'm going so you wont be the only new MINI there! Cheers, - Rob |
