Lake District Mini Run 13-15th June, last minute entries Text 07770454545

Us at Mini Mad, would like to invite you all along to the Lakes Tour 2003. It is the 13th year we have run the event, last year seeing our first New Minis, this year many more (inc Mine )
It runs from Friday 13th, with most people ariving Friday night or Saturday morning. (Although you can just come for 1 day)
We are based for the weekend at Park Foot on the banks of Lake Ullswater. The site is big with clean toilets & large hot shower blocks, a cafe, takeaway, shop, bar & disco! For those of you who don't want to camp we have details of B&B's etc within half a mile. The town has some good pubs which we will also be visiting.
Friday night is for early arrivals and a trip to the pubs.
Saturday will see us visiting some watersplashes, maybe a ferry raid & a treasure hunt. Saturday night there are games and a party at the site bar/disco. Sunday there is a navigators briefing in our marquee when the road books will be explained before you set off on a 100 mile scenic tour of the Lakes. The roads are fantastic and you will experience some great mountain passes & a pub stop for lunch. Sunday evening will be prizegiving for the quiz, treasure hunt & best presented cars, then if you are not off home, come out into Pooley Bridge for a meal. Entry to the weekend events costs £10 per Mini. (food extra) With camping @ £10 per tent per night. (All the money taken is put back into the event (marquee etc)

Im supposed to be workin saturday night but i'll see if i can get it off. Also will have to check with caroline. If i can come it will probably only be one day which would be the best day to attend?
Also will we be sticking to the highway code just like you did on the Derbyshire run

Go for it, you'll have a great time. I've done the Lakes Tour for three years in a row in my classic Mini - can't make it this year though, which is a shame. It's worth it for the Hardnot and Wrynose passes alone!

Im defo up for this , wud be a nice drive out , think KLF will be going too , Alston wud be good for me as its only 25-30 miles away , hope u know the way from there as i dont!
