Offline | 24hr @ Nurburgring ? Anyone Driving ? Was thinking of maybe driving over to this at the weekend if I can get Fri and Mon off ? The JCW guys are running a modded Cooper S there. I quite fancy driving, any tips on cheap ferrys etc and gubbins ? Mail me at dwbrown@rm.com if you have any plans ? Cheers - Dave.B |

Offline | Dave, I'd love too, but money and work commitments stop that. Check out the thread on Sabine in the racing minis, and look out for Keevan. We have emailed each other numerous times and he is assisting with the running of one of the other minis there. A good contact, and tell us how it goes! |

| 220 of your finest horses | Should be good Would like to go, but too much to do, too little time Keevan is top bloke, we met him at Hamm but missed him when we went to the Ring cos he got stuck in an "adult" bar the night before! We used P&O ferries and paid £89, however this was a group booking so expect to pay more, however if you book early enough you can get pretty good discounts. Also check out Ben Lovejoys web site for clear and concise directions (something like nurburgring.org.uk) Basically it should take you about 5-6 hours to get there from Calais unless you have Maxim leading, in which case it's nearer 4! Be sure and take lots of pics of Sabine as she slides that S around the track. Would love to see her lap times as well Enjoy S ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Decided not to go now, after comparing travel prices and bank statements ..... ;-) Will save up the pennies to go to Circuit De Croix-En-Ternois, which should be a cheaper trip, and not so far. Raced there when I mechaniced for a sidecar team in 1998, wonderful place when mixed with Bar-B-Ques and cold stubbies mate ;-) Cheerz - Brownz |
