I'd venture forth for a meet at Duxford.

I realise I'm a bit far North and East for qualification in the Herts/Essex club, but us East Anglians are a bit thin on the ground in MINI2. Please have pity on us.

The IMM in 2004 is scheduled I have heard to be in the UK. Possibly organised by a club this way, and it might be at Duxford.....only what I have heard....
Duxford is a great venue for any car meet, I don't know what the arrangements are for parking up on the non-car park areas.....

Tim, I so know what you mean - exact same experience with a bird in Black Horse Road car park, but me missus was there!!! However, got some looks off this blonde down there on Monday, so I'll be trying to catch her eye again...she was driving a Smart - I think the MINI should come with a condom machine as an option...

Anyway, how about thinking of a name for our area/group. My suggestion is MINI2 - Eastern Region. I like the idea of a quick meet at J8M11 services, maybe hash a name out then?

I think if we all met at J8, we could then go to a local pub for a drink(Coke of course!) There are lots of local pubs around here. A Sunday would be best for me and my Mini. Should be soon.

The three willows pub is good, or there is the 3 horse shoes at hazel end which is only 5 mins away. Should be good. The moor the merryier!
