Hi, put me down (+1) for a definate. Am already going to Blackpool end of September - but will have to go again for the run.

P.s. At least we can't make a double u-turn on Blackpool prom like we did on the Cotswold Run!!!
(although it would be interesting dodging the trams!!!)

Please put us down as "probables". We're going to make a long weekend of it, so we've got to arrange time off work and accomodation.

A convoy cruise down the prom sounds good. We did it a few years ago with Minis (as opposed to MINIs) and got a good reception from the tourists.

We went to Blackpool last year when the MCS was a week old, so we were very sensitive about where we left it so didn't park in town, and stayed out in the country near Preston. As I am typing this I can hear my wife on the phone to them so it looks like we're coming (with our four-legged friend who goes everywhere we do)..........

Starting to get a bit more organised now......

I've updated the list on Post #1, together with my guess on ppl numbers too.....

I'm gonna contact Blackpool council to see if they'd let us all park on the prom in front of the North Pier....at least that makes parking easier!
I'll let y'all know how I get on....other than that I guess we'll just drive up and down the front.....and stuff our faces with chip butties, drenched in mushy peas!

Me thinks you may be right Hat.........!!!

I've spoken to Blackpool Council.....they need to check some things with the police regarding numbers and access on and off the parking area......will update you all when I hear something.
