OK .......things are getting sorted now.....just spoke with the pub, everything looks like it's in place for our arrival on Saturday......they've organised some cones to keep our parking free in their car park.....DW will be putting up banners and flag on Sat am........the goodie bags are sorted.....plus we'll be getting an aerial flag to put on.....I've ordered 40 stickers.....which hopefully should be with me on Thurs......the weather still looks like it might co-operate......so all we need is for England to play.....and beat Turkey and we'll be LAUGHING!

Finally, everyone check their PM box on Thursday Evening (9th Oct) as I'll be sending all taker's some info regarding contact no's etc

Brushy has had to drop out......so we have TWO spare places going!

Derek Woodmans rang today.....everything is in place....the photographer is booked for 18-00, so put yer best bib and tucker on! Stickers are back on track too.....so it's beginning to promising!

NOTICE - RUN WILL BE LIMITED TO 35 CARS (as any more will become difficult to manage, especially getting us all onto the prom in one line at the beginning!)

OK getting stuff organised now.....I've done the route maps showing the route that Prowse has recommended through Blackpool to the Pub. Branston has now updated the website with the route maps and info......BIG THANKS TO BRANSTON

Spoke with the pub yesterday (Tues), everything looks like it's in place.....we'll get an area of the car park especially coned off for our use, for parking before and after the run. The pub has a conservatory.....it looks like we'll be using that for those eating there.....I guess the rest of you will mingle at the bar! hic!

Spoke with Veronica at Derek Woodmans today (Weds). They are organising the local paper to come and take some piccies once we get to the pub at c16-30. They are also organising some "goodie bags" (one per car).....I'm lead to believe that there'll be stuff like stickers, key-rings etc. They will have one of their cars there too, and they will also "decorate" our parking area with banners and flags......BIG THANKS TO DEREK WOODMANS!

Finally, after the total sucess of Restyle's stickers on the Shropshire Run, I'm especially commissioning some of my own. The design was sent to the supplier today, it's been OK'd, and they are sending me samples overnight hopefully! There will be one per car, so make room on yer windows for this exclusive item!!......BIG THANKS TO TINTMASTER AT TELFORD!!!

Yes I was a part of that group

The Blackpool run was nothing to do with MINI2, it was a joint outing planned by our dealer (Lister Park MINI in Bradford) and Almondbury MINI in Huddersfield.

Fantastic day out - despite the weather.

As far as I'm aware there they will be organising an event for this year - but you'll have had to have bought your MINI from either Lister Park or Almondbury to get an invite

I've double checked the Blackpool FC website....there's no matches that day so things should be a bit quieter (last year we went on a match day.....it was chaos).....

Hat I take it from your enthusiasm that you'll co-organise this with me?????
