Time to Race - Karting event Sun 26th Oct, Wales

Lets do a bit of racing where the Gatso Cameras can't get us - on the track.
I have organised a Grand Prix event at Glan Y Gors Park on the A5 in Wales.
This is a great track on a hillside with Brand New karts (70mph) on the largest of their 3 circuits (1600m)
Everybody gets 3 heats and the top 8 will go through to a final.
Full protective clothing & helmets are provided (& wet weather kit if needed )
The cost is £50 per person, the racing starts at 10AM

Wish I could come - it looks good fun. Unfortunately, it's another one of those events I have to miss 'cos I'll be working in Canada. B*gger !!!!!!

Sounds like fun! Any number limits?
I've got eight people interested. Some of them are even quite good . Unlike me.
Keep me updated through the thread or PM me. I haven't heard of this track before. Is it any good?
We usually go to Cannon Raceway (Wolves), Bham Raceway (Birmingham) or Walsall Track which are all inside and a bit boring once you've done them a few times!

The track is great, fast outfield, tricky infield. Its on a hillside with an off camber downhill section
All the karts are 1 month old.

I organise these days for a laugh for my mates - NONE profit making, Just charge exactly what the track charges,
They do £30 & £40 races here but this is the new extended track which is why it is expensive.£50
It is a lovely track.
Everyone gets 3 races then there is a final.
They have bought new karts since my last visit, and say they are even faster.
