Anyone coming to watch the last-but-one JCC event of the season?

Fairly central and would make a good event to round off a busy summer! (especially with it being in autumn

)

I'll try and book some good weather too...

We (MINI2) have been officially invited into the media centre to have coffee and tea and keep us sheltered from any rogue weather

A MINI/Mini only carpark has been arranged by the good guys at Rockingham (which counts me out then!) and, at the end of the day, a parade lap has been organised for all MINIs! (leaves me out again

)

The price is £8 in advance or £10 on the gate which includes grandstand seat and paddock pass.

Qualifying is at 10:25 and the race begins at 14:55

Coming from the south, the meeting place will be J15a Services M1, Northampton. We'll meet there for 9:00am, with an aim to get to the circuit at around 9:30am.

I'll get round to rebuilding Kermy at some stage ready for the winter series or next year - but I'm not planning on touching the JCC until they do something about driving stds - No finger pointing meant but you can't just sit back and watch car after car hit tyre walls and call them ALL racing incidents

As for Kermy well the engine isn't where it's meant to be and I havn't even picked the car up from where it went on the fateful evening after silverstone - Should mange to do that this week but not been well enough to drive until end of last week - Still having physio etc..

All things being equal, should make this meeting.

Its a 2 day meeting, but JCC only on Sunday.
Qualifying at 10.25. Race at 14.55.

It's not going to be the same with no Racer on the track, nice to know he may attend. Should be a good days racing, my first at Rockingham.

Anyone go to Oulton Park this past weekend, what were the results?

Other classes at Rockingham on day, are mix of saloons, Ginetta's, Formula Renualt and for those that have never seen them at 12.25 the Legend Cars.
These are great little racing cars and are a lot of fun, 5/8 scaled down replicas with 1930,s style Chevrolet and Ford fibreglass bodies on space frames powered by Yamaha 1300cc bike engines.
I have seen them at Brands and on the small oval (stockcar and hotrod)tracks in the past.
