It isn't a practice race car anymore its going to be the real thing should be going for the shell soon, its been stripped and at Birmingham at the mo. Its eligable for classic racing.
A small family car from the 50s should be interesting 110bhp and it will redline at 8500rpm

Been interested in the historic stuff for years with the old man when he was fitter - if you ever make it to a Croft meet, I'll bring the old fella, think the rest is too far for him to travel. Just keep the bonnet shut or he'll try and fix something. ( He did serve a motor apprenticeship in the late 50's !! )

Hmm....Tease.

You could be being pedantic ...

lt is an A35.........................l have the offer to race both but my concern on both cars is wrapping someting l cant afford to repair. Before anyone says anything they are both owned by Bro and whilst the offer is very kind to race the cars the potential for disaster is high. Aparantly you can insure classics for racing so that might make things a bit better, but stuff £90k worth of 1936 car and l'd be horrified

Ugh. Still stuffed with sushi. Good luck, Lorraine. I've been trying to get back into the fitness thing, too. I used to be able to run a half hour, and now 3 minutes and I'm winded Oh well. No pain, no gain.

Damn - two guesses.. Excellent! - love them!
Think you are right about the racing thing, - think you'll have more fun with the flying-A than the expensive one. The cheapest car with a roll-cage and a scrutineering sticker beats any road car any day,

I still don't get the modern road-going tuning scene - some folk spend more doing up road cars than it costs to compete properly! -I've got a mate in Durham motor club who gets a whole season of sprints/autotests/hillclimbs out of a nova that's worth a lot less than a visit to JCW.

( I was once beaten on a navigational rally in a 190 Cossie Merc by £400's worth of Fiat 127, but don't tell anyone. ).

Now I definitely want rid of the Mini !!
