It'd be a long day for me on a Dorset run, but it's been a while since I've been back down there (kind of my 'second home' around Ringwood/Bournemout area for many years), and I'd try to make it if it went that way.

However, most of the good roads around there (New Forest etc.) are 40 are they not? Or are we talking more coastal?

Chancer - l'm leaving it up to Mark to sort that bit out! . As always everyone is welcome to come to our runs, the more the merrier - if any SCNM people want to contact Mark I'm sure he'd appreciate it. . Maybe this could even be a joint MMM/SCNM run!

I guess a lot depends on what demand is like to go down South. I know a few of the regulars are just as keen on a more local run so I guess best to see how things pan out for the moment. Maybe we could make a final decision in about 10 days time.

We had a run around the New Forest last month which was great. Most of the roads in the New Forest are 40mph though because of the horses. They all seemed a bit mad as they kept wandering into the road

Max organised this run, he's on his hols (hence the peace and quiet ) at the moment but I'm sure he'd be happy to give directions route maps etc if you wanted.

I'll keep checking this thread, if you do come down our way we'll see if we can round up some of the SCNM.

IB ONE, Seven Hole Alloys, Air Con, CD, Chrome bits - Now with Chrome mirrors and chrome side vents + Custom engraved Whalen Shift Knob and four, yes four driving lights!

i think new forest would be a nice departure, beautiful scenery etc.. but also just out the back of where i live, there is a maze of lanes and B-roads that goes for miles, between the dorset/hants border. they are definately worth driving

chancer, im currently asking the SCNMC if they are interested, we'll see how this develops..
