The steering on my car felt light on the way home too!! The drive home was a lot more sedate than on the way there, maybe because there were no Cooper S's in the pack

Congratulations to Ian for winning all the races. Thanks to Gary for organising it. Thanks to the staff on the day who were excellent.

Which tracks next?

Glad you guys had a good time at the track, there was some good racing and decent lap times being posted. The sight of all of you flying into the first corner was interesting to see the least! Well done to Ian for winning, I'll try to dig out the results for everyone. Might have to get myself out on the track next time.....

Interested in getting involved with MINI racing, then take a look at
www.Robertshawracing.com and sponsor my 2004 John Cooper Challenge team !!!

LMB...

Yeah...the testing went really well.....the track was wet on the morning, and the MINI was by far the quickest on the track (including scoobys, cossies, Ferraris) and I even had blokes coming to look at the car, wondering what the hell it was !!!

Only.....in the afternoon it was a different story, in the dry I was a bit underpowered to say the least !!! But still, we were very quick round the corners !!

Had a big moment at the bottom of the Craner curves, under braking I dropped a back wheel on the curb and spun around awful quick.......and dropped my **** at the same time !!!!!!

But it was good......BTW any of you guys passing the track give me a shout and I'll give you a run around the block in the car.....it sounds awesome !!!

Gary

Come and support me in the 2004 John Cooper Challenge !!! Watch out for the Red/Silver car no 17......somewhere near the front (hopefully) !!!!

It sounds how the Works S should.

Glad it went well. I had loads of fun yesterday, although I'm paying the price today. I've got bruises all over my back.

Sounds like you all had fun at the karting - maybe I'll try and not chicken out next time!

Gary - glad it went well at Donnington.

I'm sure we'll get something arranged for one of the events.... seemed like a fair bit of interest when I mentioned it before
