| Nice TTs......... | Nah, my countrymen arent jumping at the idea of a run it seems ........I need to get more than 2 or 3 to make it worthwhile ! Are you going to try to make Mizen to Malin this year? I'm sure Willy will be back, DK is coming over, MartinL and dcp too almost certainly, so there should be a good M2 presence ! ![]() ![]() Global Moderator |

| Nice TTs......... | Actually Alan, one small problem, MtM is on the same weekend as The Round Britain Run, and I think Willy is involved in the Scottish leg of that, so maybe that plant wont come together this year. And, I have a family wedding on I think the 16th July, so I don't think I'll make Cullen this year either........ ![]() ![]() Global Moderator |

Offline | MTM was an expensive cancellation for me last year, i'm already booked on a golf holiday on the 24th May for a week and i just can't justify it next year. I never know from one week to the next if i'm gonna be off to attend a lot of things, i've learned my lesson not to book non refundable deals. The MTM rquires fees for registration etc etc, if i was to agree to go on a run with you guys i could book the ferry and a hotel a week before knowing i can make it. I've had to cancel a few UK runs, coast to coast and our latest scottish adventure to name a couple. Anyway, i would be very interested in any run that you organise, i'm prepared to come accross even if your local lads are not keen to participate Bonnie Scotland ![]() |

Offline | Sorry to butt in, but I'd be up for a meet if I'm about. I live just outside Belfast, but I'm about to move to England in the not to distant future, but I will definately be back from time to time. If you could give me enough advance warning, I'd happily come back across. |

Offline | Well, as I say, I be well up for it, so sign me up! I will be away at the end of Nov (but back for Xmas if we could even arrange a quick Xmas drink somewhere?), but will definately be up for it later in 04 if I can get time off. |

| Nice TTs......... | I wonder are there any decent roads there? I was thinking, and I know its a fair drive for some of us, me included, but how about The Giants Causeway? It would make spectacular pictures if we could get in the vicinity.....probably not able to get close though? ![]() Global Moderator |

Offline | You can get quite close, but not right down. A better place would be somewhere like Fair Head, which is as far north east as you can go, and has stunning views of Scotland in good weather. Or what about Newcastle (Co Down). There's great roads up around the Mournes, and you'd get great photos around the Spelga Dam area. And I'm sure the Slieve Donnard would do us a fine discount if we could get a few people to come up. |

Offline | Bonnie: I know all about the distance. In three weeks I'm heading up to Aberdeen from Belfast (stopping in Brechin to visit my mate). Its then onto Nottingham, and then sunny Lincolnshire. Then I come home two weeks later. All in my S which will be 5 days old. If you see a DS/B with Northern Irish plates up in your neck of the woods, give me a wave! |
