United-Kingdom BOXING Day Breezer Run?

Anyone interested in a Boxing Day short run?, get out of the house, windows down, quick get some fresh air into the lungs, and maybe walk about a bit, then stop off for a pint and a chat.
Start 12:30 ish- Park & Ride Cheltenham Racecourse, back roads to Winchcombe, Broadway, Stratford on Avon, taking in villages and twisties on the way?

Now with added Hill Climb/Descent - Not for the faint hearted (you can watch if you like)

Post names and I'll sort something out

Only 2 takers so far inc me, but I'll do the route on Friday, post it here on Saturday and if no more interest hold it over and call it the Mad March Run or something.

yeah think I have family stuff on Goonery

But it was a great idea, as think of how clear most roads will be on that day and also Christmas day itself

On Or Off??

Did a trial run yesterday, making a few adjustments when I came upon a 'ford' which with all the rain was 4 x 4 territory only at the time. But If the weather is good and not too rainy the day before it would be a nice addition.
Also about 2 miles of gated public road through open fields, full of inquisitive sheep at the time. (Sheep ask such difficult questions )
The run will go ahead and will be documented here

fords... 4x4 no way. fields of sheep oooh yes! with the current rural flooding at the moment. i think best bet is see what its going to be like on the day..... im still up for it at the moment. however if it continues to be as rainy as it has been, may be better to hold the route in mind until the drier times... if anything changes then i will PM u.

He He He, First there were 2, me and daughter in her ONE, then about half way, on a little country single track a red 'S' appeared, and tagged along until we got to some farm somwhere.(Near Snowshill) Lots of headlight flashing form the red one, and they overtook and went into the farm yard. They waved us to follow.

So we did, Introductions and all that followed, they were not aware of MINI2 or the run 'culture' , but now are.
Then we were offered tea and christmas cake, mince pies, and turkey sandwiches. About to say goodbyes, when , If you like cars have a look in the barn, eh ok then. Small side door, obviously cars under covers, then she hits a switch. he starts unveiling 3 Ferrarri's, A Williams FW0 something, a Bugatti from 1940 something, and real old Mk1 Mini fully rallyised, Hillman Imp , Rover SD1 ex Steve Soper Toursit Trophy winner car, TR8, , Cooper Climax Hillclimber, and it just was amazing. Spent about an hour there and have a 'if you are passing' drop in invite, started some up, jeez they are loud in a barn
Run abandoned, who cares are we are in a private motor museum
But by then the weather was awful and we'd lost the will to carry on. But all in all a nice day, met some nice people, and have got some very good roads for the next Cotswold Run. Weather was too dull to take nice pics, but If we get a cold frosty bright day, I'll get out there again with the new digtal camera thingy.

I'll do the run again in March as a practice for the Round Britain if anyone is interested.

Sounds like a worthwhile trip anyway, even if you didn't get an astounding turn out!

No worries mate . First time out not a good day for such an event, but next time same route different day, and very good roads , + the motor museum thing , + the rally stage + the hiil climb, no one else can offer more, unless you want MUSIIC , and I could do that too.
Weekend camping , Music fest, MINI run , Wadsworth 6X. Perfect!!!
