United-Kingdom Essex Bois and Girls January Run

Essex Bois and Girls January Run
Meet - Braintree Freeport Designer Village!!!
Time - 9.30am (for a 10:00am sharp departure time!)
Date - Sunday 18th January 2004
Route - Braintree > Stansted > Sawbridgeworth > Chelmsford > Braintree???

Meet at the Factory Outlet / Designer Village (Freeport) thing - at 9.30am, leave at 10am??? (time to be settled)

Route - well since Wrenny lives there - I think he should plan the route??? ( ) I can help with certain roads, as I used to live in Chelmsford, and work in Sawbridgeworth - nice road that one!

Any ideas? Please post them here, and I will incorporate them into my plan!

If you want to come, please post, so we can get an idea of numbers!

Stick us on the list, we can actually make this one

If you like, I can add a bit to the route to go from Sawbridgeworth - Roydon - Jack Hatch - Epping Green - Epping - North Weald - somewhere back towards Chelmsford.

Let me know and I will start planning

Alas, we can't do the 18th - we can either do the weekend before or the weekend after...

I'll keep an eye and see if the date changes

If not, have a good one!

Happy new year to y'all.

Good news, we've been able to change our plans a bit, so we can now make the 18th anyway!

Gazza, if you end up testing the route, I've switched to TomToms now - haven't explored though whether there's a way of transferring the route as a file? That would be cool.

Can I bagsy the back of the pack as I led the last one? ;-)

Okay, from Braintree we can go to Chelmsford via the main roads, through Chelmsford to the A1060 then along that to Sawbridgeworth, then I will hand over to m1les to his planned Sawbridgeworth>Roydon>Jack Hatch>Epping Green>Epping>North Weald>Chelmsford route.

I will try my hardest to get a route plan done for my short bit, m1les - can you please get a route plan similar to my Clacton run plan done? people need to be able to keep up if they lose the leaders...

do your mileage as culmalaive, ie start at 0, after 2.1 miles take a left on blind corner, then after a further 1 mile take the right onto coopers lane, then after 3 miles turn onto the a123 north bagpuss road..... something like that - maybe even include some map images and photos???

This one sounds fun...

Count me as a good contender on the maybe list!!!! I'm also tryin to get a guy from St Albans along, who is the son of a bloke I work with. He's just run his coop in, so will be wanting to wring its neck, like the rest of us!!

I'll keep an eye on the thread to check on pwogwess.
