Offline | Alas, we can't do the 18th - we can either do the weekend before or the weekend after... I'll keep an eye and see if the date changes If not, have a good one! Happy new year to y'all. Ad. |

Offline | Good news, we've been able to change our plans a bit, so we can now make the 18th anyway! Gazza, if you end up testing the route, I've switched to TomToms now - haven't explored though whether there's a way of transferring the route as a file? That would be cool. Can I bagsy the back of the pack as I led the last one? ;-) |

Offline | Okay, from Braintree we can go to Chelmsford via the main roads, through Chelmsford to the A1060 then along that to Sawbridgeworth, then I will hand over to m1les to his planned Sawbridgeworth>Roydon>Jack Hatch>Epping Green>Epping>North Weald>Chelmsford route. I will try my hardest to get a route plan done for my short bit, m1les - can you please get a route plan similar to my Clacton run plan done? people need to be able to keep up if they lose the leaders... do your mileage as culmalaive, ie start at 0, after 2.1 miles take a left on blind corner, then after a further 1 mile take the right onto coopers lane, then after 3 miles turn onto the a123 north bagpuss road..... something like that - maybe even include some map images and photos??? This one sounds fun... |

Offline | Ok, I've sorted the route from Sawbo to Hatfield Heath, I'll have it typed and emailed in the next day or so. It works out about 40 miles of some very twisty roads and sharp bends that will keep you on your toes. As I see the list at the moment:- GazzaK m1les addman ChrisBuer Rasp Garth Wrenny N31L Shelts? Have I missed anyone? The Sawbo to Hatfield Heath bit of the route is in the attachment in the next post. Was a 1, now 1 of 150 in a 40 Last edited by m1les : Jan 11th, 2004 at 07:25 PM. Offline | Yes Gazza, I will be there. I have kept sufficiently quiet in order to allow the natural "organisers" to use all that expensive, and otherwise useless, kit they have bought. Roll on the 18th. ![]() CHILLI RED, CHILLI PACK, MAGNEX & PIPERCROSS BAGS OF FUN gone now but not forgotten, an s next time ? |

Offline | Miles, I live in Braintree so won't be joing the pre-run run. I will say though that when you exit the M11 exit onto the "new" slip road which carries on after the "1st exit! which still goes up-to the roundabout. Essentially stay on the "new" road which eventually links up with the old A120. Its a good road - nice and quick aswell as empty, no speed cameras yet ! If you have already tried it then..........I will click my fingers after three and you will remember nothing. ![]() CHILLI RED, CHILLI PACK, MAGNEX & PIPERCROSS BAGS OF FUN gone now but not forgotten, an s next time ? |
