Offline | Chilterns Run - Essex -> Wycombe prerun From the recent Essex Bois run thread, I'm organising a run from the Essex area down to the High Wycombe start point. Setting off from the McDonalds at M11 J7 (Harlow) at 8.15am (aim to meet at 8am). No M11/M25/M40... Post here if you're up for it. Adam. Offline | The Harlow meet is only about 6 miles north from the M25 on the M11... from Southend, you'd probably travel up the A127 then onto the M25, and drive past J27 (the M11 turning), so we're really, really close to your route. From the meet on, we'll show you some much more interesting roads than the M25 PM me if you'd like more details. Ad. |

Offline | With just a few of us, at that time of the morning, I'm not gonna do a turn by turn route with pace notes... but the route will be Harlow -> A414 Hertford -> A414 Hatfield -> A414 Hemel Hempstead -> A41 Berkhamstead -> A416 Chesham -> B485 Gt Missenden -> A4128 Prestwood -> A4128 High Wycombe. 55 miles or so, should take us about 1hr - 1hr 15, which will give us a good half hour at Wycombe to find badges etc. pm me if you ain't got my mobile number, just in case. | MINI2 Master | Apart from this run, when is the next Essex meet? I've not been able to make the last couple due to work / girlfriend restraights, but I would like to get back into attending some meetings! I've been tinkering with my car a bit - Schnitzer 30mm springs and next week the Milltek manifold with sports cat - so I'd like to get her out for a good run and enjoy the car again (rather than just use her for my daily commute to work ).Anyway, look forward to seeing you guys soon and have fun at the weekend! Offline | Hi Guys - I'm sorry to do this, but me & Mrs. Addman are gonna have to cancel. She's been off work for two days with a killer cold, and I've woken up to it this morning. If by some miracle I'm better by tomorrow, then maybe we'll be there but on her form from the last few days, I ain't going anywhere except bed. Sorry Ad. |

| Grinny's the Mini 4 me! | unlikely that you will, but you are more than welcome to join the scnm pre run, meeting in McDonalds at the services of Fleet on the M3 (london bound, so go past and turn around) we are meeting at 8:30am there, and leaving to go up to the chilterns a whisker before 9am. It's about 70 miles from southend, if that helps... Ian M Grinny the mini - Trippin the light fantastic! |
