Trafford Centre - be very careful not to clash with a United home game

Trafford Centre - Good idea....But, as LeeH said bout united - Don't also forget about if it's during the day....Xmas shoppers & January sale bargain hunters - Thats if it is during the day of course!!!

My suggestion for a night time meet - Entertainment complex called The Capitol Centre, located about 1 - 1.5 miles of dual carridgeway off the M6 on the outskirts of Preston (little place called Walton-le-Dale) It has a Warner Cinema, Megabowl with Zap Zone (Laser Gun Game), Frankie & Bennys Restaraunt, the usual Maccy D's & accross from The Capitol Centre, there is quite a sizeable pub/restaraunt that does quite nice food - "Cheap & cheerfull"

Also, the complex also has a large car park which would come in handy with us parking together!!!

added u mikey

I'll add a little here, the only downside to the trafford centre as far as I know is the traffic, is there anything to do there apart from shop??

As for preston there are quite a few activities maybe we could organise if u fancied that??

any other places people fancy??

u want another poll on where to meet??

here are the webpages of the sugested meetting places so far.....

The Trafford Centre

The Capitol Centre doesn't have a dedicated site as it's made up of several businesses which consist of Burger King, Mega Bowl, Warner Borthoers Cinema, Laser Quest, Ben and Jerrys Italian Restraunt, a pub across the road and some superstores stores which will most likely be closed anyway.

Anywhere else that you can think of let us know and we'll include it

Hi, Trafford Centre may not be a good venue, especially on the run up to Christmas. Motorway & local roads get congested for miles and it would take hours to get in and out(honest I've driven past it frequently). It really is a no go zone.

We wouldn't want too many distractions now would we??!!

Does anyone have any more ideas for this meet? I'm dying for another one to go on! I can't wait for my next run in the Chilterns at the end of Feb and plus I wanna do more miles in my cooper!

More ideas anyone??? Please?!?!
