United-Kingdom The London Job 2 "London night run Sat 21st Feb 04'' PACE NOTES REVISED)

Hello all,

After a succesful run over the weekend Im thinking of organising another night run around London on Sat Feb 21st. These are only short runs around town so not like the big runs so it should not run up many miles on the car.

I have posted this early just to let people know, not like the last one which I left a bit last minute to organize.

Will have to keep to a max of 12 cars Im afraid due to it being busy in central sometimes on a sat night.

We had 5 cars on the last run which we all managed to stay together throughout the run,

This run is a great way to get to see the sights and sounds of london while feeling like your something special because your driving the coolest car in town.

Will meet at 8.30pm at chiswick business park which is on Power Rd located just off chsiwick high st rd A315.

.Please PM me your usernames and post on the thread so I know who would like to come.

Thanks

Nathan

1) Myself (Lead car Group A)
2) Adam69 (Back car Group A)
3) Trainman ( Lead Car Group B)
4) Goonermini
5) Martin L

8) Scooperman_UK
9) Leadfootlen
10) M1les
11) N31L
12) Stephen_Cy_Wong (BACK SUPPORT CAR GROUP B) with Trainman Lead car.

(UPDATE 16/2/04) THE RUN IS NOW TO THE MAXIMUM RUNNERS
SO MORE PLACES LEFT

Have decided 12 cars max. Two groups of SIX. Will split into two teams Group A and Group B.

I will lead Group A with Adam69 as back Mini support car for Group A. Will have four cars with myself and Adam.

Group B

Lead car is Trainman. Back Mini support will be Stephen_Cy_Wong the reserved person.

Sorry to split into two groups but it might be a mission getting a Twelve car convoy around London. Group A will go out first followed shortly after by group B.

REVISED PACE NOTES NOW AVAILABLE: Please download attached word doc.

(UPDATE 20/2/04)
PACE NOTES HAVE CHANGED DUE TO ROAD WORKS AND ALBERT HALL MUSIC FESTIVAL ON THE 21ST)
Maps of the route will be provided and I will brief you all on the route at the start point.
I will also bring updated pace notes.
Cheers everyone

Sorry to keep changing the notes all the time but London is a bloody nightmare at the mo due to roadworks on every street and something new popping up every day.

To the best of my knowledge the route is now FINAL and is avoiding all possible roadworks and retrictions in the city.

THIS IS IT. WELCOME TO THE LONDON RUN 2

Regards

Nathan

Last time we saw (in no particular order) Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Trafalgar Square, London Eye, Tower of London, the Embankment, IMAX cinema, Waterloo Bridge, Harrods and Knightsbridge, Hyde Park Corner and Park Lane, and of course, the Post Office at Chiswick.

I am probably forgetting a few things too...

Hopefully we can get some goood photos by all the cool London landmarks - we'll have to have lots of stops!

I'm picturing us all lined up by Big Ben etc! (Didn't Austin Powers drive over Westminster Bridge in his MINI with Big Ben in the background?)

London job 2

Nathy, Adam & myself went out tonight to try the route out which was good

Nathy has suggested that we be careful how many cars we get for this run as when we did the first run last sat we had 5 cars if we start to get too many we may have to limit the number of cars and people may have to ride shotgun just purely from a logisitical point of view. Plus if we get too many cars we might have to inform the police to whats going on!

Nathy will provide further details of start point etc later

Look forward to seeing you there!

When I nod my head...... hit it!
