NORTHUMBERLAND/SCOTTISH BORDERS RUN2 Meeting 20th JUNE 2004



Mini 2 Meeting On Sunday 20th JUNE 2004

The Meeting Place Will Be At Proiy BMW at silverlink retailpark Wallsend just off the A19 againAt 9.30am and setting off at 10.00am, Hopefully i wont be in hospital for this Northumberland run!!!!!!!. The run will be alot different to the one that Taz done for me in December. Since its in June it will hopefully be sunny and dry so it will be a picnic in the sunshine.

OVERNIGHT STAY
Anyone wishing to stay over night on the saturday 19th please say now as i can get cheap over night stays in the holiday inn and other hotels. plus great night life in whitley bay.

The car is great, iv only done 2000 miles since 8th Dec. iv ran the car in and not booted really. the only problem i hav with it is the fuel. im only getting 22.5 mpg

I've got to book my car in to try and get the creaky dashboard sorted.

The guys at Priory were very professional and courteous....I did mention that I was unhappy with the service I got at another dealership but felt it would be improper to disclose names.I did mention that I had been recommended by yourself as well as another mini2 user.He appeared to be very familiar with JCW package and offered the use of a courtesy car .He said it would take 2 days to do a thorough job,which I was impressed with.
Timetable is pushed before mini run on 14 march.
2 days at mill,Sunderland for respray of bonnet and front offside panel next week(DAMAGE from hospital carpark) .
2 days at Priory to investigate rattle
2 days ??mini design for colour coded skirts if mill come in too expensive
Oh and I've just knackered my front alloy on a high sided kerb.GREAT!!!!!!!!!!.

Ouch... Alloys can be repaired fairly cheaply.

I'm glad you were happy with the service at Priory, I think they're the best out of the three.
