Sunday Morning South to North Convoy

Anyone else want to join us .......

Leave M1 J15a services, Northbound at 7.00am prompt for a "spirited" blast up the M1

Soggy
Goonery
ABG - couldn't resist

Arrive Ferrybridge Services about 8.30ish for 8.45 departure to York meeting point

Merlin
RVW
Fevs

And going home we can take the scenic route from Scarbrough and cut up over the hills via Driffield before pickling up the M62 and M18 again to head south.

What kind of time do you expect to get back to Northampton? It looks like a VERY long day, but I might be able to swing it

Hmmm, leave MK at 6:30am back 9.30pm

OK I'm a softie but 15 hours in the saddle is just too long, and an overnight stop just don't work for a full time Dad.

I'll have to pass and just get all miserable when I see the pics

Have a blast guys

That's it, steal my glory (joke - I have no intention of planning a run so far North you need Oxygen )

100 MINIs up Staxton hill They really are good roads - I'll happily lead away as many Southerners as there are for the run back down Sarf

It's not THAT bad

It'll be 20 mins ( if that ) to Northampton, 90 mins to Ferrybridge - 15 minute break, and 30 min to York from there. then it's an hour or so standing around chatting with folks before starting the run. The run itself has numerous stops so you are not in the car all day by any means, if . Then at the end we'll wait for an hour or so before heading back. Sooooooooooooooo, it's not 15 hours in saddle, it's about 450 miles in all so really not too bad ..... come on you know you want too, you'll just be depressed when you see those pics
