Anyone out there going to this years British Mini Day this year?

Takes place on May 9th at Himley Hall, but also includes outdoor screenings of the original & new versions of The Italian Job on the 7th & 8th

Me and The Peanut will be going to this event. I'm a bit surprised it seems to be just the two of us,but there you go!

Hi.

Yes, I'll be going as my car will be entered in concourse again. Did you go last year? Spent all that time cleaning car and as it was being judged the heavens opened and it pee'd it down. LOL.

I think you'll find that the everyone who went to Bingley Hall may be going.

Hi, didn't want to start another thread on the same subject so I'll use this one

I have just been on the BMC website and apart from the Italian Job films the concourse event on the Sunday has even more prizes for us new MINI's up for grabs.

Including -

1st, 2nd & 3rd - Cooper S and Coopers
1st, 2nd & 3rd - One & One D

£200 for best new MINI in show

This has got to be the ideal oppertunity to show off our MINI's plus you could make a few ££££ - got to be good.

Hi Guys

Just started to post on MINI2 again

I look after the BMC website.

Just to remind you all that on the Friday of the Himley Show we are showing the new "Italian Job" Movie on a massive outdoor screen in the Himley Grounds. Never been done before by any other club in the UK. It is promising to be a massive evening of MINI fun. Russ Swift is coming along on Friday to do his stuff and our good friends at MINI GB are making an appearnce with a fleet of MINI's.

Tickets are just £15 per car on Friday evening and full details can be found on our website at

The Premier concours on the Sunday has been split so that we now have 2 "Mini's of the Day" - 1 for the classic Mini and 1 for the new MINI. A good chance to win some cash !!
