New mini Severns reception for round Britain Run May1ST

Please sign up here to show interest in meeting up to greet the Round Briain run on May 1st. The round Britain run is a charity event to raise money for the Whizz Kids charity. On May 1st the run will be continuing it's journey from Brighton to Bristol. We have therefore decided to show our support by having our own run down to the Warminster area to meet up with, then come back to Bristol, with and greet the run.

We will be meeting for the run at 2.30pm outside the hotel by the Cineworld cinema in Hengrove. A map is attatched below. This should be easy to find with good access from the A4 and the city centre. It is also close to the old Wills tobaco factory and the new Hengrove B&Q warehouse.

If you dont wish to do it as a run please state you would only like to be in Bristol for when we all arrive. Hopefully we can get enough support to do both.

Ok Max but as we have disscussed before and as stated in my first post we will hook up with you via a rolling meet at Warminster then join the convoy back to Bristol.

I know the route through Bristol and the hotel well so if you want a local to lead the way let me know.

Hi Kev.

Still awaiting the final timings but at a guess because the run is aiming to arrive back in Bristol for 6pm we will need to meet them by 4.30 with say an hours drive down there. If we make the meeting point our final destination - hotel by the Cineworld cinema on Hengrove way then maybe meet for lunch about 1.30 and go on from there.

Altermaivly we can meet there and leave about 3pm

More details once everything is confirmed. Map for meeting point attatched.
