 New MINI Severns Motor show convoy - Sunday June 6th 2004. hi everyone thought it was time I started an official thread for us to all meet to go to the motor show in convoy. Checking the main list out I can see thata apart from me others going include Pinks, Minimaxime and SteveM3. Please post here if you are interested and we can arrange meeting points - guess Cribs is a good starting point for me and the Welsh boys and girls. We can always stop off at servies or junctions on the M5 if this is easier for anyone else. I have added a map for the Junction 9 (Twekesbury) meeting point. There is a little chef and filling station just above the A in A46 as you look at this map. Paul ***UPDATE**** We have to be at the meeting point by around 9.30 to have time to meet everyone by the 10am off time. Realistically it's a good 90 minutes there. Adding time for a stop to pick up the rest of the convoy we need to leave by 745am. SO - we will meet at Cribs Causeway - the venue - outside Dave and Busters and Warner Village Cinemas (now renamed something silly) at 7.30 am for a 7.45 prompt departure. People meeting us at J9 Tewkesbury please aim to be there just after 8 and we should be there by 8.15 - 8.30 depending on the traffic. | Count me in please Paul. I'm in glorious Swindon now so the easiest place to pick up the convoy for me would be Junction 11a of the M5 at Gloucester. |

| ok cool - can we do a rollling meet there or is there somewhere close by we can have a quick stop at? I know theres a little Chef just off the Twekesbury junction just up from there. Paul |

| No idea but I'll reccy the place before long as I don't need much of an excuse to go driving  . I'll check out the mars bars while I'm there. Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs |

| If I remember correctly there is nothing but a sweeping curve road that links the Swindon road to the M5. Maybe we should meet at the little chef at the Twekesbury junction - J9. Paul |

| This is officially the thread for the whole South West area Tony and if more people sign up from your area or Cornwall then I will arrange either convoys up or hotel accomadtion in Bristol if needed. If you do get more people from Plymouth and Devon interested please get them to post here then we can all meet up when you get to Bristol and go up in one larger convoy. No timings have been posted for the meet on the main thread yet. I have posted asking when this will be then can sort out our timings and will post back here when sorted. | Please count me in for the time being. I can't get to my new MINI until May 3rd due to my holidays.  Worst thing is that my dealer called to say the car has arrived.  It's like Donkey, stick, string and carrot. and I'm the donkey. Can't wait till hols are over. |
