As I had to go onto Leeds that late morning, on my way thru Otley I passed two Sunday Convoys Skipton bound.... a bunch of low slung musclebound TVR/s and a later a pack of 8 Ferraris ( all red bar the sickly banana one ( sorry Captain) ) Did you encounter them on the run?
no we nevr saw those Taz but we did see a convoy of around 10 assorted porsches, one Morgan & a Golf VR32? who came through Middleham as we were parked up & then 10 mins later they all came back heading in the opposite direction. There must be a Porsche driving equivalent of you out there
Skipton is a bit of a magnet for car clubs. The day we recced last years dales run the town was full of Caterhams all meeting up for a run, plus a 1920's Bentley. Its all those lovely miles of dales roads.
