Thanks to all who organised, attended and enjoyed. Excellent route very varied but not too long. Got back about half four scarpered at the oxenhope stop as it was only a short hop over the moors to hebden bridge, mythlmroyd etc and home.

Ps is it a rule there has to be some kind of incedent/s on these runs maybe we should start a MINI2 incedent report book thread or maybe not.

Airbag deployment from seat after a bump/dip in the road all parties unharmed hope you get it sorted a few beers should help the shock. and Damos car doing a christine and sealing itself with the engine runnning all sorted though.

Good for us - nice one Hat for the organising - route planing etc etc
Good to see some familer faces - flippin cars filthy again know what im gonna spend my day off doing tomorrow
Nice to see the boy racers at the car park in Skipton at the end rare sight those red corsas and battered mk2 gti golfs.
Think the pack got split up a couple of times but we all got back together after a few mins (think one time was due to someone driving like my grandmother but never mind I should have kept an eye on the map doh)

the final attendance was 61 cars which is a great showing. Thanks to Rakey, Lorraine & Steve, Brummie & Claire, Captain & Sam & Andy for helping out on the day. Special thanks also to Brushy for best supporting role & comedy hairdo. Glad everyone enjoyed it & we all got home relatively unscathed. Happy but knackered now, pics to follow

Cheers Hat and Steph - excellent run, shame about the weather at the start, but at least it brightened up later on. It was nice to do a run on which I knew quite a lot of the roads.

It was a nice first run out for BananaSplit (cheers for the air fresher Duncan! - oh and nice pics too by the way Captain!).

It was strange being a passenger but at least it meant I could have a couple of beers in the pub afterwards!

Martin and Caroline very understandably looked shocked after thir airbag incident - I hope you manage to get it sorted guys!

Anyway thanks once again.

Oh and yes - at least my MINI's still sat in the garage all washed, polished and shiney, so I'll have some spare time on my hands next weekend unlike Nikki!!

But then again we're in the middle of decorating the dining room, so it looks like I might have to spend that spare time glossing - how could it be worse?

Aye t'was a grand day. The weather cleared up just in time for us to eat our lunch and the roads towards the end of the run were brilliant.

It was nice to see everyone again and hope to see you all again soon.
