Offline | John Cooper Challenge Donnington Pics loaded Ok weve got round four sorted at castle combe http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthrea...4&page=1&pp=20 But Nothing for Donnington any of the midland brigade up for a day out or anyone else for that matter. Donnington is pretty easy to get to right next to east midlands airport. This is the first race proper of the season and those new S class cars looked damn slippy on the TV last week. ![]() A.K.A Gray-Boy | For those that didn't go to donnington you missed a great days racing. For starters, we had a round of the Britcar Enduro race which featured a heavily modified MINI cooper with a BMW M3 engine, I think. This MINI was great to watch and had a great sound. I think Shaun had some pictures so look out for them. We then had the stock hatch race which was your saxo's, fiesta's, 205''s, etc. This provided some close racing to watch. Finaly, we had the JCC race. The new cooper S works sound really good and look great with the new rear wing. When they went up the hill they just pulled away from the cooper's due to the big difference in power. As usually the racing was close and fun to watch and now with the two versions we always have something to watch on the track. One thing you must do is watch this race on Sky Sports. All I can say is the start was very costly for 5 racers. Looking forward to the next two rounds at Castle Combe. ![]() MINI race car driver wannabe![]() ![]() |

Offline | A fantastic day got some sunburn as usual never learn Arther forster won the race 5 cars involved in a first corner kablooey some looked totally daffy ducked. Do not miss this one on sky! M3 Mini sounds awsome at full chat the only car to rival the 360 Challenge for noise. JCC ers didnt disapoint with a close race the gap between S and club isnt massive and adds to the spectacle. Castle combe here we come. Oh and Lisa Gwylim was there! |
