NW Regional Meet Saturday May 11th

As agreed, the date for the next NW Meet is Saturday May 11th, where would people like it to be? (I've posted this thread so early as I know what we are all like )

Trafford Centre (as per usual, maybe we should just stop fighting the urge )
Reebok Stadium (meal + Bowling?)
TGI Friday at Sale (V.Nice, 1 junction up from Trafford Centre, but we'd have to book i.e. definate numbers needed)
Smithills Coaching House? (near bolton, good roads, good food, reasonable price, ask the Dodgers )
Somewhere with some nice country roads (Rivington?/Saddleworth etc.) and during the day?
or other (post suggestions).

Currently driving: Silver Volkswagen Lupo GTi, 6 speed, 125bhp

As we are sure you are aware col, Martyns peak run is a regional event which is open to members and non-members alike and as for the "INFAMOUS" National meet as you put it, it is in the final process of being finalised and will be announced shortly.

check out the link in the first post to Smithills Coaching house, food is always good and it's V.Close to Rivington. Theres a menu on that link I think. So far it's only me (and you?) at this meet anyway. The Dodgers (the only other people to reply to this thread so far) aren't coming.

I know its a bit out the way when compared to the likes of Trafford Centre and Reebok, but how about the Houghton Arms! Its got good food, decent roads and is right next to the M65 Junction! Its near Blackburn right off Junction 3 of the M65! Its only a 10/15 minute motorway Journey from the Reebok, and its SUCH a nice area when its sunny. Plus its right next to the A675 road, which is a very nice drive, weather your caining it (60mph A road over hills ) or taking it easy (nice views!) all the bikers use it, so YOU KNOW its good!

Anyway just a suggestion, no doubt I'll come up with a few more!

What do you think Colin? You've been there

That would be good, that's the place that does the MINI portions and I'm sure we could detour through Rivington
