Greetings everyone, Just wondered if any one fancied a Mini meet in the heart of Shropshire any time soon - A run down to Aberdyfi mid wales would be so much fun over the next few weekends??

Hi - I'd be up for that. I think that Restyle is organising a Shropshire Mega Meet in August(?) and I'll be organising the second Mixed Meet for Shropshire/West Midlands at the end of the month.
Always up for new routes!

The next Mixed Meet is a problem. Cos of the success of the last one, more people want to come so they're keen to do the original route. But would the people who came in April want to do a different route? Hey, I've plenty of new routes up my sleeve! When I've sorted the date (probably 19th or 26th June - shall we try a Sat? Or stick with a Sun?) I'll start a new thread with a poll?

My preference is to do a different route......hopefully a bit shorter than the 120 miles we did in April.........I reckon somewhere around the 80 mile mark would do.....allowing plenty of time for stops......and duck heckling....

I would love to go on the second Mixed Meet (as the first was SOOOO good) but I'm on holiday between the 23rd and 30th June. Will be SOOOO gutted if I miss the 2nd

Hmmm, it looks like we'll do the best bits of the original route with a "special" new section, especially for Permaslide. Before I start campaigning for more cars, shall we say the provisional date could be 20th June or 4th July? Or both?
The starting point will definitely change and I'm determined to find a ford.

There are some really twisty wide roads towards Clun & Bishops Castle that are excellent to drive along with plenty of "passing places".

Okay then people, the 4th of July it is. A new thread will be started later on today. I'd certainly appreciate some help - especially drumming up more cars to come along. I'll be posting on the S2000, Boxster & VX220 forums again. The two blue VXs are definitely coming as is the silver S2000.

As much as I love my MINI, it would be nice to have a convertible on the 4th as it's likely to be very very hot. Roll on Autumn fot the Cooper S Convertible......cos I haven't got air conditioning.
