I have updated the first post with new rates for Best Western Hotels in Portsmouth and Dumfries, in the event we do not have 20 paying guests to qualify for group rates.

We have until 12 Aug 2004 to confirm if we take the options for group rates, so PLEASE DECIDE!!!

I shall try and see if I can extend this date until next week after Cotswold Run

Fudge! I did not read the e-mail properly.

The extension only applies to the hotel in Dumfries, as Sally could not speak to the group contact at Portsmouth. Hopefully, the hotel in Portsmouth would agree with the extension tomorrow.

We have an extension for Innlodge Hotel at Portsmouth too And Sally confirmed the rates quoted in the event we do not qualify for group rates are correct as printed

The deadline to accept/reject the options is 17 Aug 2004, so we need to give BW an answer later today!

I am going to say yes to the options, and chance it that we shall achieve 20 paying guests.

If anyone feels strongly against taking the options, please voice your objections NOW!!!

P.S. I did managed a brief chat with interceptor on Sat about the hotels - I guess we were all too busy enjoying ourselves in the bar to do much serious chatting!
