Offline | Have a great time folks - I hope the weather doesn't put a downer on things. I've not read the route but by the title I'm guessing it starts in London? 50 Minis should improve congestion. ![]() Global Moderator ![]() |

| miniturismo co uk | Phew!!! What A Day Hi All, What a bizarre day it has been. Thanks to ButtonIt and his fellow organisers for one of the strangest runs I've been on. I was one of the last people to leave the start point, I went wrong an incredible number of times and was still the first to arrive at the finish point How does that work? I guess everyone else went more wrong than me ![]() The directions were interesting at times - i never did see the SPECS cameras on Tower Bridge. And I must have bottomed out about a dozen times on speed ramps. In the end it was me, DevilSushi and a EB/W MCS (sorry your name escapes me) who arrived at Saville Gardens, couldn't figure out where to park and ended up driving back and forth until a few more stragglers showed up Up until Kew Bridge I was following Rick but he vanished into the traffic and I never saw him again. I'll get to introduce myself sometime soon Rick ![]() In summary, I loved it Would i do it again next year? No Way Sorry I missed the picnic but i promise to stick around and chat at Chew Valley, the South Downs and the Cotswolds.Cheers Stuart |

| can i go home yet | Hi Wigley, Well I thought after our initial divertion when we (me and TonyM) took over at the front that we were last - I always intended to disappear after Kew Bridge and head back on the south circular and it seems as if I lost you just after the bridge (waited for a while but it was red route so had to move on and out) Glad you got back ok and very suprised that we managed to leapfrog most of the others en-route |

Offline | Chaos from the first set of lights Glad to see you also made Hammersmith Bridge Soggy, had to be done ![]() Only got lost the once and that was at the finishing line, but then with all the cars going back and forth we definately were not the only ones. Memorable moments: Seeing Stephen drive into the wrong car park and having to pay twice , lots of MINI's passing each other across Tower Bridge, excellent Looking forward to those pics if anybody got any.Well done to all, a classic day.
