I'm sure those of you that have met me know what a big kid I am!

I'm making Dave take me to see the Chinese State Circus who are in Shrewsbury between the 23rd and 27th April

I was just wondering if any of you out there fancy coming too? We could have a MINI convoy there, watch the circus and then have a drink and / or bite to eat afterwards?

I know it's not everybody's cup of tea but maybe some of you fancy seeing / doing something a little different for a change? Please reply to this thread if you do

If you are going on Friday the 26th, then you can add another 2 to the list, me and miss mini.

Dont forget, if you were thinking about going on the 27th, the peak run is the day after.....early start!!

That's 5 ClubMINI2 Members and 3 MINIs, not bad at all for an impromptu gathering!

Everyone seems to be okay with the evening of Friday 26th April, so it's a date!

I'll find out the prices and times sometime this weekend when Dave stops taking baby Silbee away from me all day , and I'll post them as soon as I have them

Let me know the date and I'll see if I can come along. I don't think we're gonna be able to do the westmids event on the 27th any more as I'm house moving around then, and I'll probably have to miss the peaks run as well unfortunately, but I'll try and make this circus just to say hi to my westmids gang.

I promise we'll have a proper organised westmids meet in the summer kids...!

Right, so we've decided on Friday 26th April!!!!!

There are two performances in the Heated Big Top that night, one is at 5 pm (1700hrs) and the other is at 8pm (2000hrs). I'm kind of guessing that we'll be going for the 8pm (2000hrs) one but I thought I'd better put the two down anyway

The circus is right in the Centre of Shrewsbury in The Quarry Park. Don't panic if you don't know where that is, we can all meet up on the A49 ring road and have a mini MINI convoy there!

The adult ticket prices are as follows:

Rear Circle £8
Side Circle £12
Grandstand £16
Ringside £20

Looks a little bit pricey but remember that the price is for 2 hours of live performance

As it is a Friday night performance that we all want to go to, we thought it might be a good idea to book in advance? What does everyone else think? (The booking office doesn't open until the 22nd April so we have time to do this option if everybody wants to?)

We normally pay that little bit extra and sit Ringside and get really close to the action (it has also been known for Dave to pulled into the ring by the clowns before now ) but we are more than willing to sit where everyone else wants to sit Please post and let us know what you all want to do,

Yeah, friday at 8.00pm. I should be getting some directions soon.

Here are the directions to the meeting place.

Get on the M6 North until you get to the turn off for the M54.

Follow the M54 all the way until it ends at a roundabout.

Take the first turning onto a dual carriageway.

At the next roundabout go straight over (2nd exit).

At the next roundabout (about 2-3 miles) turn right following the Park and Ride signs.

Turn right onto the retail park at the next smaller roundabout.

Then turn left at the next mini roundabout and left again into the car park for Pizza Hut.

We aim to meet at the Pizza hut just after 7.00 (depending on M6 traffic!)

Thanks and hi to everyone, we made it to the circus (eventually!) and it was a good evening. It was very funny going through the centre of Shrewsbury in a convoy of 4 MINIs with everyone pointing and staring!!!

Special hello to Miss "wideboy corsa" Mini, I'd hide it in a garage and stick with your MINI if I were you!!! Hehehe!
