Offline | Re: How Many? So far it looks like the Meet will be usual place (Trafford Centre, Debenhams Carpark) at the usual time (between 7 and 7.30?) on May 4th, so lets go with that? Please note as previously stated, this is NOT a ClubMINI2 Meet so anybody can attend. If anybody wishes to join the Club (as I have done and a few others too), I won't have any info or sample membership packs (unless mine arrive) etc.. (info of what you get for your money used to be on here but appears to have been deleted ) Neo is the NW ClubMINI2 Regional Co-ordinator for the time being until things are sorted out and I'm sure he will be more than happy to answer any queries, as will Monsta (Membership Sec. I think). So, could the following people (in alphabetical order so to be fair ) please confirm they could attend a Meet on Saturday May 4th at the Trafford Centre at 6.30-7pm (til late ), thanks.Damo Groovy_ir Madcaser Minimark and anybody else who wants to come. I obviously can make it ![]() Thanks, Col. Currently driving: Silver Volkswagen Lupo GTi, 6 speed, 125bhp Last edited by cmt : Apr 25th, 2002 at 04:38 AM. |

![]() M2 Bapmaster | I'll be there! Will we be going to the exchange or could we try somewhere else like the Chinese. It's just a virtually never got to the Trafford Centre without you guys and I'd kinda like to try it sometime. Doesn't have to be this time though Mark ![]() |

Offline | I'm not into Chinese Food (I'm a fussy b****r ) but if we wanted a change, 2 junctions down from the Trafford Centre at Sale is TGI Fridays. Which is slightly more expensive (though refills on coke are free after the first drink) and has a bigger choice, we'd have to book in advance though. Of course, if enough people want Chinese, go for it, but count me out, no probs.See you soon, Col. Currently driving: Silver Volkswagen Lupo GTi, 6 speed, 125bhp |

Offline | Thanks for that info. Monsta, I'd been unable to find it. Mark, you probably don't HAVE to book, but it could be a good idea on a Saturday night. Also depends on how many are coming. Currently driving: Silver Volkswagen Lupo GTi, 6 speed, 125bhp |

Offline | I'd like to point out that although CMT is a fussy bugger when it come to food in general, I'm a fussy bugger when it come to the Traford Centre's Chinese Restaurants! Why? COs they're Over priced and absoultly C**P! Went with my folks to the Cafe Dim Sum at the TC and quite frankly I've never eaten so much rubbish and payed so much for it. TO be honest all the food at the trafford centre (Bar Mac D's and KFC) is preety pants when compared to the Original. Take Shere Kahns the indian Restaurant. Its more expensive than the one is Rusholme and it just doesn't taste the same! I say as far as food is concerened we ditch the TC. I know its a pain and this is only my opinion. But I'd rather spend a little more on petrol and get cheaper better quality grub elsewhere. Although I'm easy (so long as it ISN'T Chinese at the TC) ![]() Oh Yeah I AM coming on the 4th. I SHOULD have my Mini but you never know, ***'s Law and all that! Last edited by Damo : Apr 25th, 2002 at 10:16 AM. |

Offline | I dunno Damo, Exchange Bar is great (for me) and cheaper than TGI, but a change would be good. Currently driving: Silver Volkswagen Lupo GTi, 6 speed, 125bhp |

Offline | Exchange bar was fine. Not as good as TGI's but it was fine. Was on about the other places. But you said that time we went it wasn't as good as normal, and I always give a place a second chance. ![]() Well I'll still meet you at the Trafford Centre weather the North West Mini Meet is there or not. And I'll just lead the way to wear ever it is. I'm preety sure we'll be meeting there anyway just maybe moving on to bed food thats all. As for meeting at lunch, if you wanna meet early on then its not a problem for me. And then we can join the rest of them when the normal Mini meet is scheduled. ![]() |
