last time i went for a little night drive on some dubious country lane single tracks, i trashed my steering rack.... well it certainly contributed to it... within 24hours it was screaming and was replaced...

I expect no less on this run...

I just went on a trial run of the first half. Got lost. Got back home and put 48.5 litres of fuel in the tank. That was a bit scary.

better wait to replace my windscreen, the last darkness run was two stone chips, and two alloys to refurb, and that was just from the reccies in the daylight

But sure on this one I will be getting the car more dirty than the Cotswolds
