OK, I'll make a decision based on the current feedback and say Stony Stratford it is.

Might be wise for someone to ring round or something, we might be able to scope them out over the weekend, but if someone has some spare time today it might help calling the places in Stony. Everything is very close here, so if you're at different hotels it shouldn't matter much. As for late bars, I have no idea, there's not really any of those in Milton Keynes/Stony (don't count clubs, and there's none of those in our little town! ), not sure if the hotels/pubs allow residents to stay up boozing though, never had to stay here in a hotel!
