New MINI Severns - Christmas meal 2004

As has been discussed slightly we are thinking of having a Christmas meal.

The venue again will be the Carpenters Arms just outside of Bristol as the food and service there was great.

The menu is attached and I will need a £5 per head deposit. If we get 30 people then we get the room to ourselves.

For now we need to decide on a date - a Saturday night is good but we will need to get in quick. I have opened a poll - please vote - the winner of the poll is the date we go for. Hopefully it wont conflict with too many peoples works do's. The 18th is the nearest Sat to Christmas so that would be my choice.

Paul

Christmas Dinner

Put us down for this one, please.

We've voted for the 11th but any of the dates would do at the moment.

Looking forward to it

Would like to go! The 18th is a bit close to Christmas though ... family 'stuff' and all that but will try and make this day if that is what the poll decides!

Hi,

My term at uni finishes on the 17th so the 18th would be excellent.... But then again I'm not too worried... could still make it on either date!

I know I have only been on one run, but this sounds excellent!!

This sounds like fun. Put me and Peanut down for this please. The 18th suits best.

I know this is hopelessly provincial of me, but am I to assume locally cured gravadlax is some sort of ham? (See menu)

Don't know which date yet, if any. All seem to conflict with potential work party dates and family things. Would probably have to go for 4th at the moment. Will let you know if this changes. Tom
