Offline | So Cal Meet and Greet? Its been almost a full month since I picked up my Mini and I havent run across a single other new Mini driver on the road... Where the heck are you all? The Mini Owners of America /LA Chapter has a monthly meeting at Me and Eds pizza place in Lakewood on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 7:30pm. Now these are mostly old Mini guys, but the ones I have spoken to sound interested in new Minis as well and welcome anyone to attend. So...Ive been thinking. Lets get together and flood the meeting with new Minis! So, Wednesday May 15th at 7:30pm, Lakewood California, Me and Eds Pizza Parlor...Be there! I also want to invite any local Mini owners to come on by our brand new shop and showroom in Brea California (2771 Saturn st ... near Imperial Highway and Kraemer). Offline |  California Mini I know the feeling, Mr. C -- I'm the only one I've seen on the road here in Silicon Valley, although I have heard rumors of other sightings. They've got to be out there somewhere. It would be fun to get together with other owners. While I'm enjoying turning heads, it would be nice to see a kindred spirit in the flesh! Maybe we are just a bit ahead of our time here . . . kwalker |

Offline  |  So Cal Meet and Greet hey guys... It is pretty cool to see one "other" MINI on the road once in a while.... It's even cooler to rarely see another at all... But that's not what it's all about... I'm looking to organize a summer event, nothing big...more like MINI, but something that will make the locals stop and admire... a sort of a Friday Night Car Show/Gathering. I'm located in the SFV and associated with various organizations such as Deja-Vu, theBikiniCarWash.com and more, and the weekly Neighborhood "car showoff" at the corner carwash/diner. We can "start" there. Offline | Lakewood Mini Meet Randy from TVA you are not the only one out there, but I do hope to see you there tomorrow at 7:30 (5/15/02) eventhough this date may seem confusing because in your post you say that the classic Minis meet the 3rd sunday of every month and tomorrow is Wednesday. Offline | Brain Fart The MOALA Club meetings are every third Wednesday night at Me and Eds Pizza (not Sunday like I mentioned before... every third Wednesday. The last meeting was great, we had about 5 new Minis there and there was a huge swarm of the old ones as well. I had a chance to drive an old one around...very fun.
