Great to meet some new people and of course to see the usual suspects again.

Sorry to hear that Andy had to go home the day before due to sickness.
get well soon

I hope you all enjoyed the "little meal" (especially Wigley) and that the beer was tasteful afterwards

Hope you all got safely back home... and you too Erich
you see I think of you

Pictures will follow soon.

BTW: Dalboyne. I'm all ears for a meet. just let me know when you got an idea.

Stuart did seem to be struggling a bit with the little snack they brought out for him

Was really sad to have to leave you at Boulogne
After 2 weeks with MINI's in front and behind, and banter on the radio, it was very lonely driving home all on my own
Thankyou all for waving to me as you left. Was really nice

Got to say I met some great people on the trip -

Stuart and Jane, thankyou so much for organising it all, and leading us all so well. And all the shouts of "all clear" and "car coming" were a great help to all of us following. I wish you both well for your wedding next year

Adrian and Chrissie, it was a shame you couldn't stay with us for longer. I really enjoyed your company for the short time you were with us.

Andy, hope you are feeling better now. Sorry you had to cut short the holiday by a few days. Had some good laughs with you, and really appreciated you putting my piccies on your ipod for me

Ray and Gail, was nice to finally meet you. I'm just a bit nervous about the pics you say you have got Really hope to meet you again soon. Laughed so much about you suggestion of reversing through the toll boths to make it easier

Matt, I've known you for a while now, so not so much to say, apart from thanks for telling me about the trip. I've had a great time

Erich, had so much fun with you mate. Some of those crazy night time stunts were so much fun! I will take you out for a few beers next time you are over in Bromsgrove

Morty, was nice to meet you on Friday night. Thanks for finding suuch a nice restaurant for us. Hopefully will see you again.

Ian, good to meet you Luxembourg, and thanks for your help with the hotel before I left. Really nice place you found us there

Was also good to spend a few days with the other Swiss guys - Marcos, Mike, and Mini Man

I've had the most amazing time. I'll never forget the 2 weeks, or the people I spent it with. Thankyou so much eveyone

3002 miles for me

Got home about 9pm last night but couldn't manage to turn on the PC. Had a good 12 hours sleep though

Our photos and stories will be appearing on www.miniturismo.co.uk in the coming days and weeks. I'll post here each time i manage an update. Its going to take a long time to sort the photos, let alone remember what we did and where we went each day

I just need to arrange exclusive publishing rights with Andy and his daily journal

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed yourselves I've got one hell of a dirty car to go and clean

Steve, as a veteran of Gavia I've got to tell you that we drove a worse road

Col du Galibier has no barriers, huge drops and lots of bumps. And it was pouring down. And it was foggy

Glad to see you all safe and home. Our short time on this trip was brilliant.

Here is a video of the first three days. You will need broadband and patience as it is a huge file 994mb) but worth the effort.

Bonette or Bust (The First 3 Days) - The Video

Also our diary and photos of the first 3 days are available here.

Bonette Diary

Matrog your earlier post, thanking everyone summed the trip up. We only did 3and a half days, but it was awesome and we met some great people. We will always think of the seven minis at the start as "the Magnificent Seven"!

Hi guys. Nice to hear that you all got home safely. I got back Friday. Stuggled accross France on Thursday - alternating between 2 hours driving and 1 hours lseeping whilst cramming all teh drugs you donated in to keep my temperature down. Must go and sort some things out. Just thought I'd say hi and thanks for a great couple of weeks. At one point it felt that driving a MINI was all I could remember having done.

Matrog, pm me your home address and I will post you your pictures in teh next couple of days.

See you all soon. Journal may be a week or two in the making.
