I've updated the first post for OllyBlox, Matt and paa100.

I went to France for the day yesterday on a booze cruise (not in a MINI) and stocked up on maps amongst other things

Its going to be a fine trip next year

I only know what the website says. I don't expect to get anything in the post and I wouldn't worry. Just print out the confirmation number and file it somewhere safe

It probably doesn't even matter if you lose it since they have your name/address/reg no.

Updated the first post with some brief information on Day 3.

We'll be going to the Gorges du Verdon (French Grand Canyon) and three small passes to break in the newbies

I'm thinking about ditching Corsica from the run

Its a long (4 hour) ferry crossing that doesn't run all that often in September and I just think its a waste of time when we could be out exploring the mountains. The time that we save in not going to Corsica can then be used to explore more passes and have more rest days.

If anyones got any objections please let me know......

I'm with you, Wigley

By the way, did you see the article in the Mail on Sunday on the new Milau bridge in the south of france? This bridge is the highest in Europe, and may be worth adding to the route?

Yes, I'd heard about the bridge. Problem is thats its another 250 miles West. I thought we could save it until 2006 when we do the Pyranees Of course, if peer pressure is great enough I can include it but it seems a long way for a motorway bridge
