Question Goodwood Festival of Speed

I was just wondering if any members are going to Goodwood this year. Might be a good chance to get a few Minis together. I am going with work,it is usually a brilliant weekend. If anyone wants to go, you have to pre book tickets, you can't buy them on the day. I am going on the Sunday which is the best day.

If she's not smoking she broken!

I'll be there on the Sunday - not sure yet whether I'll be in the MINI (assuming it arrives on time) or by bike as I've heard the traffic is pretty awful.

It's not how fast you go that matters BUT how you go fast.

Anyone thinking of the Revival meeting in September? I know its a while off, but since there's a Goodwood thread, I thought I'd suggest it!

maybe wires are crossed here..... and I had a very late night in the lab last night and a ludicrously early startthis morning, so my brain isn't at its finest, but I thought...

Festival of Speed 12-14th July
Revival meeting 6-8th September

see www.goodwood.co.uk and check out the "Diary" link

I want to go to the Revival meeting as a "nearly written my thesis" day off!!

Goodwood Track Day

London and Surrey Mini Owners Club (LSMOC)welcome new minis. The club has hired Goodwood for the day in august (for members only) for a track day, where you get unlimited time out on the track.
Great fun! what a wheeze!

I was planning Festival of Speed

I'd not heard of the Revival Meet but having looked on the Goodwood site, I might be tempted. What is the atmosphere like ?

G8BAD_COOPER - just go onto http://www.goodwood.co.uk/ for details.

Goodwood

The revival meets are great and well worth attending.
Dressing in period costume for some of the revival days.

The Goodwood track though is a little unforgiving, very pretty to look at with its grassy banks (with very hard stuff underneath!) Not for wooses and dont forget that your insurance is not valid when taking part in a track day.

Went out on the castle combe track in a minione with Swifttune racing in september..awesome!
Still love my classic. Will eventually get a new min.

The beast lives on.
