North West Social pub meet/run/treasure hunt Sun 26th Sept - This Weekend
I invite everyone to a social meet with short run or treasure hunt this Sunday 26th Sept.
The Venue is the Scotch Piper pub - the oldest pub in Lancashire dating from the mid 16th century. The landlord is a motoring nut - the pub is used for a huge bike meet every Wednesday night.
We will meet at 11am when there will be a short run round the countryside with optional treasure hunt (prizes available). We will then return to the pub where there will be reserved Mini parking for a bit of a social gathering & there will be food available for a small donation.
(A tyre treatment company has said they will come along & do demonstrations - may be of interest to non run-flat owners. They do a lot of business with the local bikers)
The NewMiniStuff demo car will also be on display & goodies can be pre ordered to save on delivery charges.
I have to give the pub an idea of numbers on Thursday night so express your interest here
Hope to meet some new faces on Sunday
Mike
Directions; The pub is on the A5147 at Lydiate near Maghull. 5 mins from the end of M57/M58
Hi Mikey - put me down as a possible, depends what happens about Saturday night; {I'd rather not be back 'n' forth from the NW to Manc 2 days in a row ...}

Do we know what time we will be finishing? Cos Dan's Mum and Dad are due back off holiday you see, and we have loads to do.
Lets us know - cos I might prefer to be a passenger if I'm on my own - but depends who with - judging by the state of Ben's roundabout taking the other night, I might steer clear of his car!!
