seriously tho. London is not the same as a country lane... some places you cant turn round and having been on several central London runs, the problem is usually keeping together (red zones) are really good at ensuring the convoy doesnt stop to wait for lost MINI's.. its simple they cant. u also need your wits about you, traffic has a tendancy to come at you from all angles. Last place you want to be in is trying to read directions and drive too. having driven in some of Europe's capital cities like Paris, Barcelona, Milan etc. I still find London to be the scariest... hope that doesnt put you off too much.

Pffff... London on Boxing day will be quite free from traffic. You'll be fine London isn't the monster everyone makes it out to be. Sure during rush hour you are right in the thick of it, jostling and fighting for position and gaps at junctions. However, during it's non-busy periods it isn't anywere near as bad. All you need to do is keep your eyes open. I've driven in many countries across the world and found worse places than London during non-peak times.

Confussed here.....I was telling you that I can't get lost in London. So why you worried about being behind me and getting lost in London.....Minnie was going to look after you!! Button it, your right.....London on Boxing Day will be fine! Maybe a few folk going off to the sales but they will be deep in the West End and we will be there (I think) early so as to miss them. BOYR4CER, or indeed anyone else.....fear not!! Scooperman......your right about London roads not being country lanes But I am at home in London and so is Dora......so stick with us!!

There are some reviews at www.446user.co.uk/review_index_all.html (DK - Thanks for the links.) Reviews for both say that they are good performers, although a bit expensive if you pay full price, and the cheaper one is a bit light on features. The review for the T5522 says "The radio has SCAN, as you'd expect, and CTCSS ident-and-show, an essential power-user/ enthusiast feature." These aren't on the T5422. MCS JCW CR/CR ; MOD LY/B
