Having worked in Cork, Ireland during the Internet bubble and traveling in the UK during the winter, I know one thing for sure... At 7' in height (2.14m) there simply are no vehicles in Ireland or the UK I can seem to drive -- except the modern mini.

Does anyone know any decent automotive rental companies in the greater airport areas (eg, London/Shannon/Dublin) where I can rent a Mini from during my trips over?

Most BMW main dealers are now doing BMW and MINI rental, my dealer has a fair old selection, including:

Mini One, Mini Cooper, Mini Cooper S, Mini Cooper Convertable.

Prices are fairly reasonable too, roughly £50 - 60 per day.

I think O'Learys in Cork are trying to organis something for next year!
I know their has been alot of interest from Travelers wanting to do the MtM!

Kevin O'Learys in Cork were saying they were going to have a MINI fleet for rental soon - contact ned78, a member on here for more info...........his real name is Owen.........
