wow - this is going to be a huge day out. The nav is showing 222 miles and 3.5 hrs to get there. That means I have to leave at 6.30am!

Cranford Park is very easy to find - it's right next to the M4. If you're coming out of London on the M4 then its junction 3, 2nd exit (this takes you into the carpark).

Come out of the park and turn left after 20 yards - this gets you back on the M4 westbound - its the junction before Heathrow and after Heston services.

That would save needing to go onto the M40/M25 from the Master Brewer.

Well - its easier for me anyway 'cos me dad is only 5 mins away from this junction.

It is likely we shall come out of London via A40>A406 (N. Circular)>A4>M4, or just A4>M4 (as in the scenic route via Piccadilly>HPC>Knightsbridge/Olympia), which should be fine on early(ish) Sunday mornings

I shall drive out of London and let him drive on the run

I'd be surprised if there is anything more than a general guide - our runs tend to be decided on the day by the run leader who with the help of his nose and eyes,and sometimes nav too, usually goes where he feels like.
