Hi all.

Had a fantastic bank holiday weekend, the weather was great, everyone was a mini enthusiast, the trip was well organised and the route was tops!

We drove down from Yorkshire and met my brother-in-law at Leicester Forrest Services at around 6:30 AM. From there we drove to Folkestone (sister-in-law won't sail) and caught the 10:45 Chunnel train and finally arrived in Compienge at around 6:30 PM, this would have been sooner were it not for the SAT NAV trying to take us up every one way street and back alley!

The convoys were a fantastic sight with locals stopping and waving while we drove through villages.

Have to admit i resorted to the sat nav to get Burti and myself out.

Have to say that looking in this seems to have been a superb weekend. The weekend in France formula certainly seems to be a winning format, which I hope GoMini repeat next year and to get over 50 of you brave souls to cross the Channel for a run is some achievement. i can't wait for the write up in GoMini.
