6-7 JULY 2002

Herts Show is a fun-packed show, welome to owners of both New MINI and the Classic Mini. The A's of Herts Mini Owners Club, which runs the event was one of the first UK clubs to embace the new MINI. We also featured Roger 'The Hat' , an A's Member with his new MINI, the first one to be registered to the public in the UK!

This years Herts show will once again take place at Langleybury Childrens' Farm, just off the M25.

The show was a great success last year, being on the weekend of the launch of the New MINI! Once again we will be keeping the show low cost and high fun, with a treasure hunt and disco on Saturday, camping over to Sunday and the main event. We have already got support from lots of traders, so come prepared with lots of ideas on improvements to your Mini.

Events during the weekend will include:

* Scalextric
* Challenging AutoTest
* ICE sound-off
* Small-animal farm
* Food and Refreshments
* Bar
* Show & Shine
* Club Stands
* Trade Stands
* AutoJumble
* Vintage vehicles
* Raffle
* Camping

I know that this may clash on Saturday with a MINI2 event, but how about spending the evening and Sunday with the A's? It would be great to get as many MINI's as we can.

I am planning to go to this show this year. I am in Ireland at a wedding on the Saturday so I wil be there on the Sunday with my Mini. See you there

I have been there a few times. One of my friends was working on a farm near there, so we use to go there everynow and then when I was over.

It's best to turn up after 9.30. There will be lots of people of all skill levels and ages to challenge on the scalextric! Usually the fastest time wins the prize.
Don't forget the autotest as well, always a good laugh and a chance to perfect your handbrake turns

I shall be taking both my MINI Cooper and my 1963 Mini 850 round the course. I wonder which will get round quickest!!

Yes mate I will see you there. Will probably have a bigggggggggggggggggggggggg hangover but hey never worry! I will have my Irish mate with me and he is looking for a new car so its a good chance to convert him into the Mini way of life!!
