Hello Folks!

Okay, assuming that max's run finishes about 1pm, i reckon that the jaunt down to three legged cross, at the old barn farm start point will take under an hour. So i will tentatively say that this run will start at about 2pm...

Firstly, let me introduce the run to anyone who has not been.

The first half of the run will be exactly one hour, and is around 38 miles long. This is from the Old barn farm at Three legged cross, to tarrant Monkton, in the Langton Arms. this pub was recently gutted by a fire, and has been fantastically refurbished. it is one of only a few pubs in the area of the run that doesn't close between 2:30pm and 6pm. we will not be stopping at the Anvil Inn, where we stopped last time, as it will be closed at that time of day. (the original piddle Puddle run started at 10am, to ensure that we would get to the Anvil before it closes...)

the first half of the run includes the famous 'Jump-Back bridge', a 30 mile per hour bridge that if taken at 50 will see your car fly for around 20 feet... good fun, and totally safe as you can see for miles on the other side....
You can also witness the side splittingly funny Mini recycling centre... all will be revealed..
This half will also take in the legendary Ass Hill, so we will all go up Ass together..!!
the first half doesn't strictly involve any Piddling or Puddling, but it does take in the ford at tarrant Monkton, which today and yesterday was slightly higher than usual, but can still be taken at about 40mph to hilarious effect, traffic permitting.

the second half is almost all great scenery and twisty thin roads. included in this part is the Cerne abbas giant, the chalk man with the big willy... we can park right opposite it for a minute if you like, in case you have never seen it before.. this half of the run is about an hour long too, and is another 45 miles approx. we finish at the haven holiday park at Warmwell, not a million miles from Wareham. this allows easy access to main roads in all directions for people to get home easily.

this run was the first i know with the 'instant replay' feature, which i have pioneered, which involves doing all the comedy bits at least twice!!!!

I would love loads of people to come, but this re-run is primarily to make Matt18's journey down for the Salisbury warriors run worthwhile, as he is coming a long way for that so i have tagged this on the end for him.. it is also dedicated to tracy and her mum, as i know tracy loved it the first time...

the more the merrier, but it may be just about 4 of us!!!

see you all there!

below is the cerne abbas giant, and some of the puddlers last year.. tony's sexy wheels, R.I.P.

Ohh I can't wait for Jump Back bridge ..we were flyin last year ...Ian, we will do the first part of the run and tale off back to Poole after the Ford at TMonkton..If I remember right we come out at Badbury Rings so we will probably veer off to the right when you go left...I expect Mum may follow on to Blandford and then veer off to Stourpaine (thats where they live)..unless they decided to do the whole lot....cu guys Sunday ...

Count me in please. As the salisbury run is the first in my new MINI I might as well make the most of the day and do this as well.
