As requested at the last meeting, a new venue has been sought, due to the club outgrowing our existing meeting location.
The new venue is..............
The Victoria Inn & Lodge The A30 Victoria Near ROCHE Cornwall
For those who don't instatntly know the location..........
WHEN TRAVELLING TOWARDS DEVON........the main A30 crosses The Goss Moor, and under the legendary Iron Bridge, through "Roche Cross". The A30 then passes through a small semi industrial area called Victoria, where there are two garages, The Little Thief, Bamber Tiles etc. Take the junction to the offside signposted to Roche and the industrial park, and the entrance to the Victoria Inn car park is on your right.
WHEN TRAVELLING DOWN FROM DEVON.......the main A30 is dual carriageway as it passes Bodmin, and it reaches the large roundabout at Innis Downs. Maintain the A30 heading WEST, passed the old BT radio station, through Mount Pleasant, before reaching Victoria approx 2.5 miles after the roundabout. Take the junction to the nearside signposted Roche and the industrial park, and the entrance to the Victoria Inn car park is on your right.
Meetings will continue to be on the first Thursday of the month, with meetings starting prompt at 7-45.
We will be utilising the large conservatory at the Inn, which overlooks the substantial car park. In the summer there is a reasonably sized beer garden also.
The food at the location is, IMHO, very good indeed.....I have personally eaten there recently and was very satisfied indeed.
